A tradition of Classic Gaming Expo has been to gather the best of exhibitors and vendors of retro gaming merchandise and this year you'll get the best mix ever. The latest homebrews, the most affordable vintage products, and the most diverse lot of nostalgic goodies will be crammed into the main hall. The space filled up quickly and we've re-arranged the floor plan a number of times to accommodate everyone... but there's always room for one more!

out! EXPOSED and More: The Plaza's Hot New Look
At The Swinger's Club, you'll gain some first-hand experience with the downtown Las Vegas night scene. You'll get dueling pianos, a nine-hole mini golf course, and an eyeful of Las Vegas memorabilia. Mingle or sing along, it's the perfect spot to geek out with CGE friends old and new. In addition to Oscar's great food, the restaurant offers you the option to pair your meal with one of Oscar's "Broads" to join you for dinner. These fine young ladies will discuss everything from politics to sports, and really know their Las Vegas history. It's a truly unique dining experience. The Exposed Hair Salon features female stylists wearing bikinis and classy lingerie. This eye candy salon has two separate sections and entrances for men and women, with a total of 14 styling stations for male customers, as well as eight stations for female clients. We tested the salon out just for YOU, our attendees. We tested it several times just to be sure it would be right for YOU. We're pretty sure it is. The Classic Gaming Expo auction is always a highlight of the weekend's events and this year we're kicking it up a notch by offering attendees the opportunity to put a photo preview here on the site as well as for potential buyers to get a peek at some of the items with plenty of time to prepare. We hope everyone staying in Vegas will stay at the newly renovated Plaza
hotel. You'll be able to quickly tote your vintage gaming loot right up
to your room from the show floor, and the rates are fantastic, from $35
on weeknights to $65 on weekends.
The best ticket price for the weekend is $25, which you can get simply
by registering by May 31st. This also guarantees a personalized badge

discounts now! Classic Gaming Expo™ 2012 Dates Announced The countdown has begun! Mark your calendars for Vegas this summer as Classic Gaming Expo returns to The Plaza Hotel for another tour through videogaming's rich history on August 11th and 12th, 2012. We visited the Plaza early in the fall of 2011 after hearing that it had been COMPLETELY renovated. Skeptical, we toured around without announcing ourselves to discover that the casino didn't smell like smoke, the rooms had all been given makeovers, and the ballroom where we had hosted this show many times before years earlier was torn down and being re-designed. We came to discover that the hotel is under new management and all of the brand new furnishings meant for the aborted "Fontaine Bleau" Casino on the strip were purchased by The Plaza. New features have opened as well, including Swinger's Club, Oscar's Steak House, Island Sushi Grill, Exposed and more, many of which will create some interesting dynamics with our attendees. Though the sign by the loading dock doesn't look much different, it's message and what's inside certainly rings true. This is NOT the same old Plaza! to booking the 2012 event. We came home changed men.
