Mr. Mark Klein is a veteran of the game industry. He programmed front-panel LED-based games before home computers had video displays. He designed and programmed Subterranea for Imagic (Atari VCS), Touch Down Football for Imagic (PC Jr.) distributed by IBM, Tandy and licensed by EA as a precursor to the Madden series (PC Jr.), Pong distributed by EA (IBM PC), Sherlock Holmes and Damiano for Bantam Books (PC), Mouse Trap Hotel for Milton Bradley (Game Boy), and Bart Simpson Escape From Camp Deadly for Acclaim (Game Boy).
He co-founded Digital Pictures to bring "full motion video" based
games to the Sega CD. He co-founded an Internet security software firm that created a product
line now sold by Network Associates and he co-founded a nationwide voicemail firm now operated by AOL.
In addition to the vast array of Mark's games that were released, like most
programmers, Mark worked on a few games that never saw the light of day,
including Pick-up and Save the Whales, both of which were released
at Classic Gaming
Expo.
